hmm... i think i didnt get in 4 the attachment... here's how it goes;
Q: can u tell us y r u interested in nano technology?
A: actually, i get 2 know abt nanotechnology through an advertisement abt SKII foundation. the advertisement claims tt by using nanotech, they can make the foundation stay longer on ur skin n when applied, it will be more even, making ur skin look better. therefore, i believe tt nanotach has great potential n like 2 know more about nanotech by carrying research on it.
Q: actually, u shld apply 4 IBN(another attachment course, but is full of bio) instead of IMRE(nano tech in phy form) . do u wan 2 change ur choice now?
A: but it is too late now to change right?
Q: u can still change, but u must be sure tt u r making an informed choice abt it. here, have a look at wat IBN is about. (push paper 2 me)
A: (look look at paper, realises tt it talk abt organs, tissues n blah blah which i dont really understand)
will they choose me if i dont have any bio background?
Q:(look look at the other interviewer, the other interviewer say) : ya, u will be at a disadvantage from the others
A: umm... then i dont think i will change my choice bcos w/o any bio background, i will not understand wat is happening, n this will not be fair 2 the researcher i m helping out.
Q: ok, then tell me y do u choose ICES as ur 2nd choice 4 attachment.
A: my sis who study in NTU used 2 have an attachment in ICES, and she say tt she learnt a lot of things tt u cannot study from tb. she has also carry out some experiments n she told me tt the equipments at ICES is really advanced. (actually, i also dont know y i choose ICES, so i just crap there lor..)
Q: tell me one experiments tt ur sister has conducted
A: (me, stunned) umm... i rmb tt she told me once tt although we think tt diluting conc. sulphuric acid seems to be v easy, but in actual fact, it is not. she told me how she has to add the water 2 conc. acid as it is v explosive... (craping again)
then, they say ok blah blah blah...
so i dont think i will get selected lor... but nvm la, its quite fun being there =)
i talk 2 a NJC guy who also applied 4 the same attachment as me, then he still got bring a folder tt consists of his cert lor, then, wow! he power lei!!! got newspaper cutting of him gg 4 another NTU attachment, DISTINCTIONS 4 new south wales competition in maths, el, sci... cert in fencing, blah blah blah.... but he friendly la, so nvm =)
so i was the only pj ppl there la, along with NJC, CHI, SAJC, ACJC, RJC, TPJC, NYJC, AJC ppl.
cos when i was waiting 4 my turn, i was in the cafe drinking ice lemon tea, then the RJC guy keep holding 2 a stack of paper, which i think is the potential questions the interviewer may ask u la, kana like writing speech lei -_-"
but nvm, i m not sad even though i dont think i was selected 4 the attachment, in fact, it motivate me 2 study even harder bcos u get 2 know tt outside one mountain is another mountain, outside one heaven is another...
oh, n, most importantly, our yfc team get selected!!!
